Kalup's
Crossroads Synopsis
This is the story of Sonny Kalup, an Assistant U.S. Attorney in Tampa
Florida, who, as the result of his involvement in a jurisdictional dispute
between the FBI and the DEA over an important drug smuggling case, incurs
the wrath of the FBI. He even receives warnings from the Colombian Cartel
of Carlos Estrada. Sonny's life reaches a crossroad when a loved one
is murdered. Sonny is charged with the killing, but in spite of the
mounting evidence against him, he refuses a plea offer and the case
is set for trial. The war is on while the pages of this novel, as seen
through the eyes of Sonny and DEA Agent Tracy McBain, spin a tale of
courtroom drama, as well as murder, deceit, corruption, betrayal, mystery,
and suspense.
